The Koondrook Preschool is located on the picturesque grounds of Koondrook Primary School. The Preschool currently operates on Thursday and Friday with sessions for 3 year old & 4 year old children and is managed by Gannawarra Shire Council.
The Preschool provides a program that caters for children’s individual needs while still preparing them for entering formal school. A large part of the program is the environment, during term 2 and 3 Bush Kinder is an important valued learning experience for the children.
The Preschool children interact with the school community with weekly library sessions at the school, visits to the classroom, joining the school for community events and the sharing of resources.
